We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and deliver your project:

• Contact details you give us — name, email address, phone number, and property address.
• Project details you share — scope, budget range, timing, drawings, and photographs.
• Correspondence — emails, form submissions, and notes from calls or site visits.
• Basic technical data collected automatically by our website, such as device type, browser, approximate region, and pages viewed.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not collect sensitive categories of personal information.

• To respond to consultation requests and quote enquiries.
• To prepare estimates, schedules, and contracts, and to run your project on site.
• To arrange deliveries of materials to your address.
• To keep records required for accounting, warranty, and aftercare purposes.
• To improve our website and understand which pages are useful.

We rely on your consent when you contact us, and on legitimate interest or contractual necessity when we are delivering work you have commissioned.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to complete your project — for example with suppliers arranging a delivery to your address, trades working on your build, or our accountant. Those parties receive only what they need and are required to keep it confidential.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within two years. Project records — contracts, drawings, invoices, and warranty documentation — are kept for seven years, which reflects our accounting obligations and the useful life of our workmanship warranty.

Information is stored on access-controlled systems, shared only with the people working on your project, and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfect, but we keep the number of people and places holding your information as small as possible.

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete information we no longer need, or stop contacting you. Email studio@larueconstruction.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
